• Recipient of prestigious K.M. Philip Gold Medal in 2013 from AIRIA for his contribution to growth of rubber industry in India.

Rajendra V. Gandhi is the Executive Chairman of GRP Ltd. He is a graduate engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and the chief promoter of GRP Ltd.

Mr. Gandhi’s dedication towards the Indian rubber industry has led him to set up the Polymer and Rubber technology department in the Shroff Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology, Gujarat, to offer degree programs in Rubber technology.

Mr Gandhi has been recipient of the prestigious K.M. Philip Gold Medal in the year 2013 for his contribution to the growth of the Indian Rubber Industry. He has also been recipient of a prestigious international award from CompuWorld Honors Award for his initiative in use of Technology for Economic, Environmental and Social Sustainability.

Harsh Gandhi

MANAGING DIRECTOR

• Alumnus of Harvard Business School, USA having completed OPM Program and Purdue University, USA.
• Member of Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), Past Member of Executive Committee of AIRIA, Past Member of Regional Committee of Indian Rubber Institute.
• Before joining GRP in 2001, worked in Kotak Securities and Boston Consultancy Group (BCG).

Harsh has completed the Owner President Management (OPM) program from Harvard Business School USA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Purdue University USA. He has varied experience of 15 years in various senior managerial positions in the key areas of Market Promotion, Material Procurement, Business Development, Corporate Communications, Strategic Planning, and Corporate Services.

Harsh began his career with Kotak Securities in Equity Sales & Trading, followed by a 2 year stint at The Boston Consulting Group advising clients on growth, market entry strategies in Industrial Products, FMCG, Telecom businesses. He joined GRP in 2001 and subsequently worked on special projects before managing and subsequently leading the Marketing, Procurement & Operations functions. He took lead roles in setting up greenfield projects for capacity expansion for reclaim rubber and later drove the entry into the Nylon recycling business. He was appointed as Executive Director in 2009 after 8 years leading the company’s growth. During the last decade, the Company’s presence has expanded to more than 50+ countries worldwide.

Harsh is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), has been a member of the Executive Committee of the All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), and a Member of the Regional Committee of the Indian Rubber Institute (IRI), apart from being a Member of the Young Entrepreneurs Wing (YEW) of the Indian Merchants Chamber.

Married and a father of 2 children, Harsh likes to play Football, travel the globe and play Golf in his leisure time.

Saurabh Shah

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Saurabh Shah has more than 20 years of experience as advisor in the fields of public equity investments, private equity, capital markets and Merger & Acquisition in India

He is a Director of Citicorp Finance (India) Ltd., and Partner in AUM Fund Advisors LLP and AUM Asset Advisors LLP.

Prior to founding AUM, Saurabh Shah was a Partner and Member of the Board at 3i India from 2007 for more than 5 years. He was at different times, the head of Buyouts, responsible for Growth Capital and one of the partners of the $1bn India Infrastructure Fund. He has experience in leading the origination, evaluation, due diligence, closing and asset management of various private and listed investment opportunities across several industries.

Prior to 3i, Saurabh Shah was a Senior Director and part of the founding team of Citigroup Investment Banking (formerly Salomon Smith Barney) in India for more than 12 years. He led the bank’s relationship and transaction teams for many of the largest and most significant M&A and capital raising transactions at the time for Indian businesses both in India and overseas.

Prior to Citigroup, Saurabh Shah worked with Salomon Brothers, New York and ran his own accounting practice in Mumbai.

Saurabh Shah has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Mumbai. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Vivek Asrani

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Vivek Asrani is a Science Graduate from St. Xavier’s College and has also done LLB.

Vivek Asrani is Managing Director of Kaymo Fastener Company, engaged in the business of industrial stapling, nailing and fastening systems, and Kaymo Industries, manufacturing staple pins. He has over 37 years experience in the field.

He is on the Board of Cartrade Tech Ltd. and Transasia Bio-Medical Ltd. as an Independent Director. He is involved with various social initiatives and is on the Board of Initiatives of Change India, Initiatives of Change Switzerland, and PRAJA in Mumbai.

Anshul Mittal

Anshul Mittal has graduated in 1999 from the Purdue University, USA, in Bachelor of Science (Industrial Engineering), summa-cum-laude and completed his training with OTIS Elevators, U.S.A. After completing his studies, he joined the family business (Mittal Group) in the year 1998. With his in-depth technical knowledge, and passion for excellence, he initiated the company’s forward integration in manufacturing coin blanks and commissioned a state-of-the-art, ISO certified plant for manufacturing Copper Alloy Coin Blanks and Coils.

He is the Executive Director of Mittal Appliances Ltd., flagship company of Mittal Group, history of which dates back to 115 years in the business of non-ferrous metals in Central India. Mittal Appliances Limited is the leading manufacturer of currency coin blanks in India and the largest supplier of coin blanks to India Government Mints for Rs. 10 and Rs. 5 coins, with supplies of over 6.5 billion coin blanks till date.

Anshul Mittal is associated with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for past many years. He had been Chairman of MP State Council and is now a member of Western Regional Council. He has also been part of various committees of CII. He is the incoming President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Indore Chapter. He has served on the board of EO for 8 years.

Hemal Gandhi

Hemal Gandhi has more than 10 years of experience in Branding and Corporate Communications. She is leading the Corporate Communications, Brand management & CSR at GRP and actively involved in creating the new corporate identity, brand & media strategy and social media presence for GRP. She is also actively engaged in the Learning & Organization development activities along with introducing multiple employee engagement initiatives & promoting a ‘great place to work’ culture at GRP.

She has worked at Disha Counselling Centre & the British Institute where she has conducted counselling sessions & psychometric assessments for children.

Hemal Gandhi has pursued her studies in BHSc in Human Development & specialised in developmental counselling from SVT college, Mumbai.

She has completed the women entrepreneurship programme at IIM Ahmedabad and Science of well being online course from Yale University.

She is a member of FICCI, IMC Ladies Wing & YPO Mumbai Connect.

BELUR KRISHNA MURTHY SETHURAM

• Belur Krishna Murthy Sethuram has completed his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
• Subsequently, he pursued M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Clarkson University from USA.
• Further, he completed his MBA from Sasin School of Business (Kellogg Program), Bangkok

Belur Krishna Murthy Sethuram has over 38 years of experience in Chemical and allied industries. He has led the growth of multinational companies and has successfully managed certain businesses and cultural integration. Alongwith being passionate about developing talent and building strong organizations, he is actively involved in the social sector.

His technical expertise is being contributed by becoming an Independent Director in leading listed entities operating in Plastic and Chemical segment.
